Return Policy

48 HOURS APPROVAL - FOR "IN STOCK" GUITARS ONLY

We give the buyers a 48 hours approval period, offering at-home trial period for our "in stock" instruments (custom and pre-orders are non-refundable) which means you have 48 hours after receiving your guitar to request a return. We reserves the right to deny a return if we aren’t notified about product damage, defects, or customer dissatisfaction within 48 hours of receipt.  

To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with all hang tags, certificates and warranty cards, and in its original shipping box with its original packaging materials. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.

We’ll send you a return shipping label, as well as instructions on how and where to send your package. Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted. 

In the event of a return, the buyer will be responsible for all shipping charges incurred during the transaction (return shipping as well as the original shipping will not be refunded). 

FOR GUITAR PARTS ITEMS

We do NOT offer the 48 hours approval period for guitar parts such as control plates, bridges, etc. For damaged items, please, see the section "DAMAGES AND ISSUES".

DAMAGES AND ISSUES
Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right. There’s only a few things we’ll need from you:

  • Pictures of the shipping box/packaging, with close up photos of any damage to the box/package.
  • Pictures of the damage to the item, the more photos and details the better!
  • Any other information you’d like us to know about the damage.
  • Then we will email you a return label, and the damaged item can be returned.

EXCEPTIONS / NON-RETURNABLE ITEMS

Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns on GUITAR PARTS (control plates, bridges, etc), sale items, custom orders, pre-orders or gift cards.

EXCHANGES
The fastest way to ensure you get what you want is to return the item you have, and once the return is accepted, make a separate purchase for the new item.

REFUNDS
We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method within 10 business days. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too.
If more than 15 business days have passed since we’ve approved your refund, please contact us at return@mbitguitars.com.

Shipping

For in stock items, they will be shipped 2-5 days after purchase goes through.

For custom and pre-orders, the shipping will occur once the item is in stock. The overall delivery timeline may vary based on multiple factors such as the vendor, the model, and shipping services.

WRONG ADDRESS? WON’T BE HOME?

Has your package already shipped? Is the address wrong? Have you realized you won’t be home?

These are common occurrences and they might be easy enough to change. Should this situation arise, reach out to us at shipping@mbitguitars.com and, when possible, we’ll be glad to assist you in making these changes.
